District 31 contracts with Quest Food Management for daily lunch food service at Winkelman and Field Schools. Monthly menus are posted on the school pages of the website. In the 2015-2016 school year, the cost is $3.95 for the hot lunch and $4.50 for the deli combo. Additionally, if a hot lunch special is purchased, students may also make one trip to the salad bar. The menu also features a variety of a la carte items. Milk and beverages may be purchased separately. Alternatively, students may bring a bag lunch from home.
Automated Payment System
Families may select to use the Quest’s automated payment system for student lunch costs. The process operates much like a bank debit card. Students are provided with a unique bar code identification card that is presented in the cafeteria. A scan of the individual card will automatically debit the student’s account for lunch items. Prepayment of food may be made with a minimum of $50. Please note that a $1.75 convenience fee will be added to online payments. Quest will also accept checks and cash payments and will apply these toward student lunch accounts. Checks should be made payable to Quest Food Management at West Northfield School District 31.
Contact the District Office for more information. Account balances will carry over from year to year until graduation. Refunds will be issued if a student withdraws from the District or graduates. Unused funds may also be transferred to siblings.
