Registration for the 2014-2015 School Year
District 31's Kindergarten program is now full day. Registration for the 2014-2015 School Year will begin on May 5 – June 27, 2014.
To be eligible for kindergarten next fall, a child must be five years old by September 1, 2014. There are no exceptions for this entrance age requirement. Parents must bring in their child's social security number, as well as the child's state or municipal birth certificate. Hospital or baptismal certificates cannot be accepted.
Parents registering a child in District 31 must prove residency at the District Office, hours listed below, after which they will receive login information to complete the remainder of the registration online. Homeowners should bring the most recent estimated real estate tax bill and two of the following items: current homeowner’s insurance policy, current village/county/state vehicle registration, current vehicle insurance policy, utility bill or public aid statement. Renters should bring a valid lease for the current address, proof of rent payments for the last two months, if new resident please provide proof of security deposit and first months rent, and two of the following items: a current village/county/state vehicle registration, current vehicle insurance policy, current renter's insurance policy, current public aid statement or current utility bill.
District Office Regular Hours:
May 5th – June 13th, Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
District Office Summer Hours:
June 16th – August 15th, Monday thru Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m
The District office will be closed on Fridays during summer hours.
