Welcome to School District 31

District 31's two schools -- Winkelman Elementary School and Field Middle School -- provide for the education of students in kindergarten through eighth grade who live in the western segments of Glenview, Northbrook and unincorporated Cook County in Illinois. In recent years, both schools have won the coveted Blue Ribbon Award from the United States Department of Education and other honors.

Our Mission is: Preparing Today's Students for Tomorrow's World. We educate our children to achieve their highest potential in all growth areas -- Intellectual, Emotional, Social and Physical.

The District has a dedicated Board of Education, administration and teaching staff who are committed "to preparing today's students for tomorrow's world" and work closely to provide cutting edge educational opportunities for all students.
